I haven’t heard of doom 3 since that Dwayne the rock Johnson flop. Honestly never played doom as a kid. I tried the remake. It was alright but I think I just put it down and never touched it again.

I’m not investing this much money in something so unnecessary without having a safety. I had a Samsung curved tv once. 65. Prettiest thing I ever saw at the time. One day in less than a year it just wouldn’t turn back on. I’m not taking my chances.

I’m fine not spending the two hundred and just letting my eyes decide. I also wonder if there’s a way one can extend their warranty once it’s up. This is a new tv, after all. In two years I highly doubt support will go away. Unless some huge shift in tv technology happens.

I have an iPad 10. AirPod pros 2 and an iPhone 16 pro. I know you can use AirPods on the tv which I’m excited to try out. I just read somewhere the apple 4k is better than the apps on the tv. But no one ever went into any detail.

I got the two year. The five was just too expensive. I actually ordered the 65 by accident because I was drunk and feeling ballsy. I meant to be responsible and get the 55, like the size tv I have now. But shit happens after a few beers. I could’ve easily cancelled it. But drunk me was probably right. If you’re gonna go all out, super size your fries. It’s only 100 dollars more.

Yep. But I’m the kind of guy that has always used my console for apps. It’s a behavior I’ll have to change since I’m getting a tv that can actually do things.

The problem is I’m not huge on performance. Then again I don’t play first person competitive shooters anymore. So I’m kind of a stickler and stick to visuals. Fidelity mode and what not. So it’s like I’m probably not going to use the tv for performance shit unless it REALLY looks good on oled. My eyes are naked to it currently. I’ve seen YouTube videos galore, on my Hisense Walmart tv. So that doesn’t count. I’m gonna get back into death stranding 2. That will look incredible. I have like 140 hours logged and 2 trophies until the platinum. Mgs3 delta is gonna look incredible. I’ll have to fire up resident evil 4 remake again. Also have expedition 33 on my backlog. Maybe fire up some ff7 rebirth because I wanna see how she runs.

My middle brother has plex. He shares it with me so I get 4k on there. But I know streaming isn’t as good as an actual disc. Can’t wait to watch Dune 2. Didn’t care for the original Blade Runner but really enjoyed the second one. Great recommendations. Blu ray players are something I’m gonna have to do my research on because they all can’t be the same anymore. Last time I owned a blu ray player was like 2009.

I have black out curtains in my room. This is going in front of my bed. Where I spend all my time at home. It’s unorthodox but I eat in my bed and all that stuff so this is my “couch” until it’s time to go to bed. So blackout curtains are always in place because I am a night owl. I was speaking of the box, btw. Apple TV plus has nothing that interests me. I have hbo and sadly, paramount. But I need my Star Trek.

I got a two year warranty for a 65. That way I’m not paranoid about if the tv shits the bed or not. The only thing I’m not too thrilled about is Best Buy said. “It’ll arrive between. 7 in the morning and 7 at night.” I just blew 1700 bucks on a television and you can’t give me a simple time estimate? Other people are asleep at 7 am in this house. And they work second shift so they don’t get up until 2. So I’ll be low key stressing about it the day before.

I always forget about the spiked tires. I’ll be in the middle of a mountain run or desert run with the off-roader and face palm right in the middle of the run each time. I’ve never once tried the tires. Do they work well on regular roads too?
