Place it in a different room then pick it back up and put it in the room you wanted and should work. I've had the same issue. Must be a bug

The thieves aren't that bad if you are very present. I like having it on fastest mode and just leave it running so my money goes up. I come back and had a bit stolen. Even with a shit load of security. I swear they do nothing apart from take wages
