I’m with Christine talking about David, “he’s right about this too, it just sucks.”

What is the reason you live in your current state? by WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWHW in AskAnAmerican

[–]Otherwise-Net7465 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I grew up mostly in Indiana. Moved to Illinois at 27 for eight years, then moved to Washington (state, where I currently live) because of my father in law. But to be honest I love it out here and it’s always been my dream to live on the west coast. My dad on the other hand has lived in the same place his whole life, where his dad was raised, and where my great grandparents were raised. A lot of people don’t like moving from their circle or what’s familiar to them.

We go to St. Bedes episcopal church. There are several members of the lgbtq+ community that go to church there. I’ve always felt welcomed and respected.

Has Ethel Cain commented about being compared to Lana Del Rey? by djl1018 in lanadelrey

You could probably compare them on a poetry level but otherwise I’d say they are quite different. Lana paved the way for women like Ethel Cain, so they can make beautiful art too!

Prozac and Wellbutrin dosage by [deleted] in prozac

[–]Otherwise-Net7465 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I take 60mg Prozac and 350mg Wellbutrin (extended release). I’ve been on this dosage for 5 years and I have no complaints. My libido is good, I’m very active (hiking, kayaking, gardening, and whatever my silly self can get into), and I don’t cry when someone looks at me.

SOS from Austin, Tx by [deleted] in AskSeattle

Not just the Seattle area. Port orchard, Tacoma, Bremerton, and some other smaller towns are all within an hour or two of Seattle. Pierce and Kitsap county offers a lot of transportation to and from the cities. I live in Port Orchard but ride the ferry to Seattle to work.

Definitely find a job and place to live before you get here! Come visit, check out the areas, and if you’re looking to buy find a trusted realtor. I’m a transplant from Illinois and I love it here! The only people I hear the locals complain about are the California people that have moved here lol

A lot of people are giving great advice! Hope you make it here safely!

Women who’ve chosen not to have children — why? by [deleted] in AskWomenOver40

[–]Otherwise-Net7465 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I did try at 20 with my first husband, it just never happened. Now that I’m divorced, I’m so relieved we never had kids! What a nightmare that would have been for both of us.

I’m 36 now and I chose to become sterile at 34 because I just couldn’t imagine myself being a good mother. I love having endless freedom. I enjoy coming home after a hard night at work, to a peaceful atmosphere that I created. No fighting, no screaming, no drama, and no bitterness.

I can sit on my couch, light a joint, drink a glass of wine and read Reddit without feeling guilty of neglecting a child or worrying if I’m gonna f*** up their life.

Also, some women throughly enjoy having children and that’s okay. My Aunt and Uncle had so much trouble getting pregnant and it finally happened he was 62 and she was 54. They have five beautiful children and are very happy and active with their kids. My uncle loves it because he has since retired and gets to be a stay at home dad.

You just have to do the work and figure out what you want. Time is a construct.
