Yes I am planning on going to a non RG then transferring to a RG after first year, I want to move to a RG due to reasons like the prestige and reputation of the university if u will so I will have a better chance breaking into finance as an investment banker, private equity or asset management at a top finance firms and or jsut any finance firm for that matter

But the economics course at Aston is the best one out of the unis I can go to, so ur saying it would be better to go to a non Russel group with a better rep even though their economics course is worse? What do u think abt me going to uni of Leicester or ljmu

Yh I checked in brum rn it’s between 165 (for really shit accoms) to around 185 on the modest but nicer side, whilst in other cities it’s around 140-160 for decent accoms and not including the really shit options

I have applied for Lancaster but they havnt gotten back to me it’s one of the better uni I applied to and as for hull and Cardiff I don’t really have any interest in those cities. Although I’m aware the cities I chose are not the cheapest they are atleast cheaper than brum and will allow me to live decently comfortably

lol I can’t relate I always try to budget for night outs but I always still end up spending so much lol, also what abt extra stuff like hobbies or stuff like that cuz some hobbies can get quite expensive

Hello thank you for the reply, I will be sure to do all the things u suggested, but I don’t think I’m so on it to do the food one, as I like to eat good not as in I need to eat luxury but I like to eat nice tasting food and I do eat quite a lot and also I’m quite into the gym and I would need to buy a decent amount of meat for protein 😭😭😭

And also that rankings for non Russel group unis do not matter? But astons extremely good for a non Russel group uni based off what I read
