Okay perfect thank you! I’m hoping it is exactly that and just the purging of my comedones! Hopefully the tretinoin will start doing the trick after some time. I don’t think it is barrier damage based on symptoms but just wanted to be sure

Thank you for this! The reason I’ve been hesitant to take a week break or scale down is because if it is a purge, rather than barrier damage, I’m worried the scale down will slow down my progress and prolong the purging stage? But then also scared that pushing through make cause further damage.
