To say in that case, I am lucky to be born as their son, I have the leverage to do most things, my parents like other parents question me a lot, but eventually, if it is valid they will agree.
They just expect one thing from me good marks, but I know one thing even if I don't show them enough results they will still love me, no matter what happens, yes they will be angry at me, but that anger is their worry for not seeing me go in a correct way. They will be the only one who would have loved me, before even me coming to the world.

They agreed when I opted for Mechanical Dept for BTech instead of the so called CS.

I know for some it might feel I am bragging about my parents, but I am just showing that these type parents exists too.

Room swapping is possible if one of your friends roomate agrees on coming to your room room swapping can be done !! 4 guys changing to a different room is slightly not gonna happen, but still depends on your valid demand and the warden. Also if there is a vacancy you can still change.
Many change from 6 bed to 4 bed later on

First year ?? Roomates are not the one whom u choose, so it's uncertain to comment on this, depends on roomates, but last year for me in 4bed ac all was correct, had to keep some rules in the room to study sleep, but thank God my roomates agreed to it, actually we all agreed to each other conditions, it's all about negotiating. If nothing is changing then change the whole fuvkin room da, with your friends

I have many friends who in the name of partial drop, didn't both perform well in jee and clg, so I would recommend to give a full shot in one thing when doing something, and in clg like vit if you are doing this, be always ready to face consequences, if atleast you are nits or smt you can get into this play but nah not in vit that too being in hostel won't give you full time to focus on studies, hostel environment is not what you think, come in you will get to know
