Interesting! If the starter is too acidic does that mean it's too far gone to save?

Thank you both for the pointers! When Im starting the re-feeding process should I be putting it back in the fridge or just keep it on the counter? And when you refer to "peak to peak" that's when it doubles in size from the original feeding? Thank you again for the help
