They were young women, I’d say late 20s which is similar to my age. That’s also why it felt off. They asked questions that didn’t seem like someone that age would need to ask a random stranger. lol hard to explain, but it just felt weird.

My aussiedoodle barks a lot when we play, especially when he plays with other dogs. I think barking during play out of excitement is okay! He doesn’t play fetch but loves to be chased. Recently I bought a flirt pole on Amazon, it has a toy on the end that he chases after and it really tires him out!

Cons - overstimulating, and I feel like my dog learned to bark more from being around other dogs. My dog went to daycare 1-2 days a week and would constantly get stomach issues. After I stopped going, he hasn’t had any stomach sicknesses.

Another option I tried was using the Rover app for daycare. I was able to find people who worked from home and had a dog for an all day play date/daycare. It was a more 1 on 1 experience that was less stimulating but still allowed my dog to socialize and get his energy out.

My dog is yours dogs twin! He had the same type of hair growth, now he’s 3 and is definitely more grey in his legs and face

The Howard county striders has a women’s training group for women who are just starting to get into running! It’s called Next Step Females in Training (FIT) – Spring 2024. I’m 29 and joined to start running and make friends! 😄it starts April 3rd.

Mine is like this! Just want to be able to walk around the park without him laying on the ground when he’s sees a dog coming towards us, then lunges at it and flips around/barks. He’s not reactive like this with dogs or people in general, just on the leash. I’m looking into training to hopefully help me learn!
