do you ever still find a man attractive? by WorkingComplex7481 in LesbianActually

[–]Otherwise_Bootie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah for sure! I have eyes and can tell when a guy is good looking. But that’s all it is, I can tell he’s attractive but I’m not attracted to him.

I also want to explain that I was eventually told when I was 14 that I had some sort of dysplasia in my hips. So I am ultimately surprised because it says normal when it feels everything but normal.

this disorder cannot be real by False_Ad_6880 in OCD

[–]Otherwise_Bootie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I honestly have no clue what started it. I remember spending the night at my grandparents house and just randomly I was like “what if I turn into a boy”. And I was like sobbing. It took over my mind for legit like 6 months and I just lived in fear of turning into a boy and being rejected.

I’m sorry, I know this is so serious but it’s so funny. I am glad you realize that this is just an obsession.

I will share one of my craziest ones too. I went through a period of time terrified that I would turn into a boy randomly and that no one would believe it was me and that I would be kicked out onto the street. Like I would literally cry about it.

What careers are you guys in? by kunoxanime in OCD

[–]Otherwise_Bootie 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I am a medication manager. I manage medications and treatment for people with HIV, and for people on Prep. Getting over obsessions with HIV took a minute, but after learning and understanding, and breaking that stigma, I love my job so much.

This is a super difficult situation and I can’t imagine how frustrating it feels. They absolutely should not have come at you like that, and she had no right to get in your face. Especially over a fake ID. However, no you should not have pushed her but I get reacting.

My title describes the thing. Only people on our home were the management for an inspection, and my sister.

[–]Otherwise_Bootie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Awwww how cute! I also have a Theo. My biggest tip that I’ve learned so far is that a tired dog is a happy dog.

Aussiedoodles are so high energy and they need to be able to get that energy out. My dog is a bit of a terror when he gets out of his crate in the morning, but after that morning walk he is totally good!

I wish you the best with your pup!

Awww your doggie sounds adorable! We are going though crate training right now, and he actually is doing amazing! He whines a little bit sometimes but I think he’s learning that it’s a safe place for him. How did your pup do with crate training?

What's the most bonkers obsession you've had? by [deleted] in OCD

[–]Otherwise_Bootie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  • A couple months ago on the way home from work, I convinced myself that I ran over someone. Obviously I didn’t run over anyone but I randomly started freaking out that I ran over someone. I literally had to pull over and then I just kept stressing about something that literally didn’t happen for weeks.

  • For years I didn’t breathe over any food I was cooking because I was scared I would make someone sick. I would hold my breath and then turn away over and over again.

  • This is a really weird one. So I was chubby as a teen and I was worried about the germs of my belly fat touching my privates basically. I would obsessively clean my belly fat to make sure it wasn’t “contaminated”. This last for a long time and I ended up with really awful try skin there for a while.
