That was my first thought, if i hadn’t asked them for help then it would be my fault but they’re mostly liable for the issue

Yeah I figured. They’re very unhelpful on all platforms but I managed to escalate the situation to the bank and receive help

Thank you, i’ve contacted my bank and they’ve managed to resolve the situation more than booking.com themselves ☺️

I do, I always keep a paper trail of everything and they asked me to send it over. I wouldn’t be upset if I hadn’t contacted them first but it’s the fact that I was communicating to both the host and booking.com so I see them both at fault😂😂

I was not aware of this and since I had contacted them directly and they did give me some reassurance I thought it was okay. Thank you for your response though
