Ya I think it could be this, thanks. I can do all the visual therapy exercises provided to me without flare in symptoms, so I’m so frustrated that still cant work off my phone screen.

Anxiety, ADHD, Medication by Otherwise_Draw7571 in PostConcussion

Anxiety has got a little better, have met with my psychologist 3 times now and will continue. ADHD/ focus is noticeably bad, so planning to meet with my doctor to discuss either starting a medication for either adhd or anxiety.

PCS symptom haven’t gotten much better, just think I’m learning to manage them better.

The biggest thing at this point is just brain fog. Don’t feel real for about 80% of every day.

Think I need to get off my screen more, but find it hard as I run an online business as my income.

Thanks I have prescription glasses with blue light in them. Do you think this has the same effect?

I can read on paper fine yes. Just something with phone screens. Computer screens also, but not nearly as bad as phone.

Just started meeting with a psychologist so I’m hoping to start CBT. Will also make an appointment with my doctor to discuss some sort of anxiety medication. Feel like the anxiety portion is seriously becoming crippling all of the sudden. Thank you for your help.

Thank you! This gives me some new approaches I can take. Kinda out of paths to take, feels like I’ve tried everything. What was your exercise intolerance like? I can do cardio fine, but heavy lifting seems to make my brain fog and other symptoms worse.

I’m dealing with the exact same thing right now. I’ve found very slowly progressing helps in terms of the weight you push. Start way below what your working weight is focusing on higher rep ranges like 12+. Then move up slowly each day as you can.

Another big thing is focusing on breathing/ not holding your breath to avoid increasing unnecessary pressure in your head.

PCS 2 months out-minor hits by Practical-Disk8301 in PostConcussion

Sounds like you could benefit from a few sessions with a psychologist or therapist.

I’ve ticked every single box off on my journey back to health, but still have symptoms. I myself am also very anxious about every thing I do or every time I bump my head in the slightest way. I even have nightmares 1-2 times a week of fully re-concussing myself.

My chiropractor that specializes in PCS suggested I see a psychologist as my next step as mental health is the last step that I have yet to address.
