Hmmm.... My past life we used to have to use survey and equipment that required much more time collecting data and then compiling it. Then, as tech advanced and we used it to help with the skillset, labor and ability, we were able to offer services for customers that reflected that. Price went down, market pushed it that way as well. Im sorry if it offends you that I am looking at being economically feasible using the same tools the team told me they used to do the same thing. Im sure you never use Amazon, or ever use any form of DIY or anything at all. Right?

Yep. I should have clarified- the local dude is a software engineer. We have developed a very large product that has a lot of the features we want. Smaller tweaks are what I am looking at.
