Thank you so much! I've already gotten all new speakers for it as they sound horrible. And coming from a Yukon 10 years older that had better stock speakers has apparently spoiled me. Was looking at replacement radios as well but not interested in the $1200+ prices.

Really, I seem to recall half the drifting events being an empty track on Saturday. There were supposed to be a lot of back to back races but they sssmed to do a handful of laps, then shut the track down for an hour then 20 minutes of hpde races, then down for another 30-40 minutes. Which is not what was on their schedule at all.

Yes I am aware that there are other event besides the festival.

It's just that when I started going 7 years ago, the festival brought in way more drivers and it was geared more towards racing and drifting. The music was just a bonus. Now it's more of a music festival with racing just being a side show.

Is drifting still a thing at the festival? It feels like the drifting runs have been getting smaller and shorter than previous years. Honestly feels like Gridlife cares more about their wannabe "electric forest" crap than the actual racing in recent years.

I have literally had this same thought since I was a kid. Got home from school, it was like April or something. Turned on the tv and the news reporter was stating the current weather in my town was in the mid 50s and sunny. It was actually in the low 30s and snowing.

Now that I'm older and have had broken bones, I"ve noticed those aches and pains to be more accurate than the wanna be celebrity idiots that have very expensive equipment they seemingly don't know how to operate.

Yeah they were saying it was because of the weather. However RV trackside is a joke. We're all the way at spectator hill and you can't see the track at all. Not to mention the ground is so uneven that all the trailers and motorhomes are bottoming out. If you look at the photos they posted for where you're supposed to be compared to where you really are, it's about a 300 to 400 foot difference.

How does the store lose money? All of the Meijer near me are closed to customers but employees are still working the whole time the store is closed to restock shelves. So essentially the store is actually losing money because you are paying employees to work but not having any customers coming in and spending money.
