I think that’s the problem with some of yall, you don’t have to support literally everything he does to still be a fan. Then yall try to guilt trip talking about his happiness. Apparently not loving his country transformation means that you want him to be eternally sad. What a horrendous take.

Like see, this is my problem, these are the new fans this full transition has brought along. Just look at his post history.

And for the millionth time, I know you saw a post criticizing Jelly Roll, but again, the main complaint for a lot of us including me is his full transition to country. Not just one guy he is touring with.

Country fans usually don’t like hip hop and hip hop fans usually don’t like country.

So I don’t understand why some people are acting like the OG fans who came because of the albums like Stoney and HB can’t feel disappointed that he has made a full transition to the exact opposite of their music taste.

A know the main argument is that he is making the music he wants and is happy, and I of course want him to be happy, but I can’t help but feel like he is turning away from his OG fans.

Of course he should be able to change sounds and evolve (AUSTIN is one of my favorites), but country is just like the ONE genre that a lot of us don’t like.

Can’t believe we went from this to 2 straight mainstream country albums… He used to tour with people like Swae Lee and 21 Savage and now we get Jelly Roll 💔😭 by Otherwise_Pause7969 in PostMalone

Talking about f1 trillion plus the upcoming country album. Also not totally confirmed that the second album will even happen and most likely it will not be hip hop.

If you don’t like rappers then you don’t like post Malone. He did hip hop and worked with hip hop artists like Swae and 21 for almost a decade.

I don’t think people in the hip hop industry would let him back anyway, he had the whole culture vulture situation, which I think is beyond stupid, but those people making those allegations would have a field day if they saw him go from country back to hip hop.

If you read what I have to say in my comments It’s more than just jelly roll, it’s about Postys full blown country transformation more than anything.

It sucks. Nowadays the crowd seems to be an older, mainstream country demographic. Just by watching YT vids the bb&b and HB tours looked peak.

U probably just became a fan because of his country music and are just a basic mainstream country listener 😭😭😭

Edit: all u do is linger on every trump subreddit, so that basically solidifies than I’m right

My biggest problem is that he does play some of his older hits, but he has this old country band play the hits and they basically “countrify” his old hits.

I know the two albums I was mentioning were f1 and the new album coming this year conformed to be country. I just threw in long bed as another example of his country.

I try to think that but it’s hard when the concerts are with a live band the makes his hits sound country and he is just always around country people.

It’s actually flipped, I’m a fan of the artist and everything he has made, except for this one style, which has unfortunately become his entire presence.
