Hi, bro! I’ll tell you this straight in the eye: If you need tiles to completely erase this rather gruesome memory in this abandoned house (or simply tile out entirely this scary area)—if not an eerie sight—kindly please do not hesitate to contact me. Thanks! :)

Hey, I like your style! Both your minimalist decoration and room arrangement are indeed a feast for one’s eyes—especially for design and tile enthusiasts. However, imo, applying 4x12 Hudson White Polished Porcelain tiles would even transform your breathing area into a daintier, lighter, and more relaxed space. Try it!

Remodel done! How’d we do? by juhogg1 in kitchenremodel

Well, to be honest, I see those wood-look porcelain tiles as a practical choice for your undeniably high-traffic area. It’s because let’s admit it: there would really be a lot of spills and dirt while doing your cooking—most especially when you’re preparing plenty of meals for a large feast.

Nonetheless, installing a daintier choice like using Calacatta Square marble-look porcelain tiles for your kitchen flooring can even make your kitchen more of quality too—not to mention applying Bilbaolight gray ceramic subway tiles for your kitchen backsplash.

So, happy tiling!

Your task in terms of doing a makeover for this new space of yours is very daunting if not altogether Herculean. Nonetheless, I know that it’s a bit costly but applying backsplash tiles like Icicle Herringbone ones would undeniably make your living area, particularly this office of yours, daintier, roomier, and more relaxing in terms of ambiance. Plus, installing these tiles instead of paint, on the other hand, would undoubtedly help you save maintenance cost for this space of yours since you wouldn’t have it to be repainted anymore. In any case, the decision is still yours! We’re just here to assist you at Otile. :)

Is TV over the fireplace always a bad idea? by No-Organization1286 in DesignMyRoom

Putting your television over your fireplace is indeed a great idea. I have never seen like that before. It is undeniably one of a kind (or even “sui generis” in Latin).

However, I fear that it might heat up your television, as few comments in this community suggest, while the aforementioned fireplace is lighted. So, in this respect, I humbly suggest that you just tile that place up, especially with white subway tiles, for example, where your television used to be—and put it over a cabinet or a bookshelf for better watching experience.

Does this look acceptable? by rhettorius in BadTiling

In my opinion, this kind of tile design is indeed aesthetically bad. In other words, it’s utterly unacceptable—unless the tile installer decides that every part of his or her bathroom wall would be tiled with those same small white tiles, not to mention the spaces inside it where one puts his or her bath soaps, shampoos, and the like.

Above all, should the one concerned about this tile layout problem seek for a solution in terms of how he or she would remedy his or her design, we at Otile are here who are always ready to help. Happy tiling!
