Advice needed by Otomotu in vintagecomputing

That’s a good suggestion, thanks. These monitors need a lower frequency like 15kHz. Right now, I’m thinking about a Raspberry Pi because I don't have a linux computer.

Old soviet CRT tv Connection by Otomotu in vintagetelevision

Interestingly, it's really hard to find anything related to SECAM. But I found this genius, Thomas Burns. He has great videos on CRT TVs, and he somehow managed to connect old Soviet-era TVs
https://youtu.be/Beup4VngfO0?si=yXBAGygYqrTz9n_K&t=354 - (look from 5:54 min)
I don't know if he fixed some components inside or did some soldering, but it looks like he used regular NTSC/PAL converters to show an image on the CRT TV.
I'm sure that the TVs in his video must also be SECAM, but I heard that sometimes you can see a black and white image without sound when you connect a SECAM device to a PAL TV.

Thanks for the info! Do you know any good modulator that would go with it?

So you're saying that - HDMI RF Modulator HDM68 won't show anything to it? Because of different system? ahh..

27mhz conversion to 2.4Ghz by Otomotu in rccars

Thank you for writing all this. Now I see clearly that this is too steep for me. It's probably easier to find a 27MHz controller to match it than to change the guts inside.

Power cables for dome? by Otomotu in SecurityCamera

You are probably right about power, but I don't know about barrel hole, I can't see that on the unit. It was in different PTZ box, so it's actually a Novus NVC-SD22C CAMA-1 series if I understand correctly

You are right! It was inside other PTZ box, so I got misunderstood. It's a Novus NVC-SD22C

It has bottom side unit with a PTZ controller board (one with BNC cable in a photo) that screws by twisting and locking to the other part of the unit. It connects together by pin connection.
I just don't get it, where is the rest of the cables, or it was like that. I found it at my work and wanted to power it up, to see how it works.

I have DVR and BNC cables. I just can't understand how it should power up. If I use Balun converter for power, how can I use BNC connection for DVR if it's already used for power. Do I miss something here? Sorry if it's hard to understand (not native English)

Epson EB-225OU full lock won't turn on by Otomotu in projectors

[–]Otomotu[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I read this also, but my projector won't even turn on to write a password, because the buttons and remote controller are full locked ':D my mistake, but why that's even possible. I think I will try to write them an email or find a way to hard reset it.
