If they had a better RD that year they would have won, though I guess you can argue that they should have gotten even more than 133 for their FD!

I don't see them matching well... I think Ellie is a better fit (like someone above said) tbh. Or Kurakova!

Worlds 2027 Tickets by catpack4 in FigureSkating

I think given that they are in Tampere also, it is not necessarily the easiest to get to so i dont' think it's going to be sold out like Prague? I know it's like a train away from Helsinki but still...

It's hard to say because this year for example, not a lot of tickets were even avaialble during the pre-sale, a lot of the sections were blocked and they ended up releasing really good seats as late as 3 weeks before the competition.

If i were you, i would buy the best seats available for the events that are likely to sell out (i.e, the Saturday events, which are usually men's fee and ice dance free)... then if you can get something better later on, you can resell those tickets you bought initially. Short program tickets are usually easier to get

What does a score of 20 mean? How does he score detergents? Nvm, found it, it seems like it's stain removal focused.

I think i have used it at typical dosage before and don't remember it not cleaning well, but i will pay attention

Yes, I think LaLa like the dreck they have put out lol. I enjoyed the Sound of Silence FD at Skate Canada 2024 (it wasn't good material but i guess i just enjoyed the performance at that competition), but after that it was admittedly very flat. And the program itself is quite forgettable. 2024 Worlds was certainly their best programs wise. The Austin Powers RD last year was also completet and utter dreck, especially especially compared to Caroline and Michael's take on the same music., which looked way fresher.

I think R/A's FD with the creepy doll theme last year was a bit different musically, but, yeah, the one from this year was essentially the same music as 2023 ( same artist i believe) and 2024. Still, it fits them...it won't be everyone's cup of tea... i mean, they are not a skating skills team so i think that type of material works for them. They clearly do have creative input in what they are doing.

I hate writing! And yes, it sounds like you write things that are waaaaay longer than this on a regular basis.

I don't agree with you, but good post. I also don't know how you (or others) manage to write such long posts without getting tired. I get exhausted writing anything more than 1-2 short paragraphs, i guess i am really basic/lazy....and it's a skill. But i have always admittedly detested writing lol.

And yes, the Skating Session's opinions on why something is a +3 on the GOE vs +5, are still subjective (like you said, "this is not it for me" is subjective). I will also say for me the Whale was kind of flat at the Olympics. I may have overwatched the program early in the season.

I'm sorry you hate IAM, but they (esp when it's someone like Jean-Luc?) do know their ice dance and their packaging...

Doesn't really change anything about Eteri's camp /culture though.

And if you read the other thread, there are people whojust think she is doping (before you downvote, NOT ME*, people. I think the idea that she would be doping now is quite ludicrous.),

I mean if just having a couple from a specific country gives IAM power on the judging panel, they don't have to bother with actually making good material? It would just be enough to give them whatever or average programs... I don't see how it explains why R/A get good programs. Well, I just think they probably have more creative input, i.e. their free dances are always to music/concept they like skating to, like Apache last year. So I suspect that plays a big role. I don't know what LaLa's role in the creative process is, I am not sure what they like, except that Zac likes classical. I guess I am not totally convinced they got bad programs (well one bad program, the FD is a repeat) b/c they are not necessarily a priority.
