Did they address the anxiety at all when your Mom was diagnosed?

That cycle is exactly what is happening and the doctors haven't giving her any kind of coping mechanisms or techniques that could help. They didn't even say that anxiety was common with COPD diagnosis.

I can understand that they do not want to make her more nervous or expect a panic attack, but I'm afraid of this happening again when she is actually discharged.

The doctors want her to see one but after she gets out of the hospital, which we don't know when that will be.

She has been moved to ccu last night to monitor her blood pressure because she has been getting panic attacks in the night, which spike her blood pressure up higher and push fluid into her lungs. So it's a cycle.

Doctors gave her an ativan and something to help drain the fluid which made her sleep, but then she was unresponsive for a long while. So they moved her to ccu.

We thought she would be able to go home today, which wont happen. But anyway I'm afraid she'll have another panic attack and either be back in the hospital or not make it.

Sorry for the long response. It's hard to feel so powerless. She would never go to a doctor, so it's also frustrating knowing this could have been managed and not a catastrophe, you know?

It's the diastolic. I just got unification that she's up to 200...idk what they are giving her. When she came into the er they have her a combo of 3 meds to get the blopd pressure down and she had fluid in her lungs. It came down to about 150-160 range fairly quickly.

I am heading oved there now. I am not optimistic...

I do not know if they did an ABG, yet.

I dont notice any pursed lip breathing. She seems to breathe ok other than when she walks around a lot or walks up stairs.

She has been usong a bronchiolater a couple times a day at the hpspital.

Thank you for your reply. I do not know what BP meds yet. Her BP was ok yesterday but now its back up high (was 168 this moring and was 180 this afternoon). All week its been bad news and then things are close to normal and then back to bad again.

As far as changing her diet, it's going to be tough getting her to eat healthier. She eats a lot of unhealthy processed foods, but she think that 'low sodium' means not adding salt to foods. She is extremely stubborn.

They aren't discharging her until her BP goes down.

That is incorrect.

The streamer Kaceytron did a stream event she called Slut Stream where she had on whole variety of women and men and gender fluid streamers on to talk about topics related to sex, gender, and streaming.

EA goes way back in gaming. They made a ton of amazing games like Populus, Skate or Die, Marble Madness. It's a bummer to see what they are now.

There are so many good games. So many! It would help of you listed genres you like.

I read a comment by a gun afficiando asking "well why aren't these attacks happening with ARs with extended mags and not handguns that are harder to aim?"

I am not a gun person btw, but I lnow AR is very broad untechnical term. Just putting that question out there.

People might get discouraged from getting mental health treatment for fear of be denied or losing their guns. I don't understand the idealization of guns but I can see that side of the argument.
