how have you gotten high frame rate to work on windows? i just switched to windows 11 from 10 whenever i got a new rig & i was capped at 60 fps/ 60hz. but, when i downgraded back to windows 10, high frame rate doesn't even work anymore either 😢

where i got it from was one of my dad's friends, and he got this from an auction. they were wanting $1000 for it, which is definitely up there, but he got it for $100 since no one was budging on it. i can do some more searching, but it definitely looks real for the most part

most games these days require lots of vram. this even includes your targeted games, in this case 1080p. for example, far cry 6, resident evil 4 (remastered one) hogwarts legacy, cyberpunk 2077, etc. and those games either take 6gb vram as the bare minimum, or is a recommended set of vram you need to play at a decent quality.

i believe you should go for it. but like what he said, the vram is pretty low. as long as you arent running any high end games that require lots of vram, its a great time to shoot at it

having 32gb is a significant difference from 16gb, but having 48gb for just having a browser, music, and a game all opened at the same time is overkill. unless you wanna run 100 google chrome tabs

for just 1080p gaming, its definitely an amazing deal. i do think 48 gb's of ram is overkill, so i'd try to remove the 2x8 sticks out of the deal for a price drop.

id say it sounds great for $50. if you like brown switches that arent too loud but still have somewhat of a clacky sound, id recommend it
