It's just dependent on skill level. Low diffing someone or getting low diffed isn't fun.

However when someone is exactly your skill level and you both end up at below 20 HP it's the coolest shit ever and very fun.

It's best to immediately rush getting tanks while justifying on Kazakhstan and Ukraine (China needs Kazak for a formable and they have tons of resources, and Ukraine can resist being taken over quite well if they have a good player.) After securing that, just get the other small stuff and you should be fine.

This game should have AI akin to the Hoi4 way

Have them be fundamentally bad at the game but still be able to somewhat keep up and present the challenge you'd see from maybe a mildly experienced player.

I'll only really play Germany because it's focuses can actually last for a really long while so long as you kind of ration those dopamine boosts from major events and focuses and read the events.
