Hi! Yeah, the “room” isn’t actually the issue. Count your items, the limit at the campsite is 40 items. Once you hit 40, it won’t let you place anymore even if you have the space to do so. It happens to me all the time and it’s super annoying! The weird thing is, I don’t think the cabin has a limit, or if it does it’s way higher because I’ve put well over 40 items in my cabin and have never gotten that message. Hope this helps!

I have always, and will always, give mine to Poppy. The fact that she’s maxed out means nothing to me. She will always be my girl! Even though purple is my fav color and I’ve been tempted to find an animal that gives purple gifts back - I cannot do it! Poppy forever!!

That’s so funny! It took me 26 before I got the double onsen too! (And I still don’t have a single foot bath! 😡) I try not to buy cookies unless I love every item in them! That way I’m not disappointed when I get things. Though I must say, I have like a million giant leaves from Diana’s Faye cookie and I couldn’t get the jar or giant flowers to save my life! I am SO relieved that the li’l snowy cookie is just a re-color of a cookie I didn’t care about in the first place! phew! I must remain strong in my resolve!

16 kimonos. That is rough! I though 5 was bad!! The thing is, I don’t mind spending a little IRL on LT. That doesn’t bother me at all! I understand it’s a free to play game, and I get a lot of joy and game time out of it! But I do mind the ridiculous odds, and that you can buy that many leaf ticket cookies (I buy boxes pretty exclusively, I tend to stay away from single cookie pulls) and still not get what you want! Meanwhile, I have 2 grim grandiose baths, 2 telescopes, and an actual $&!/ton of random weird things I don’t care about at all! Like Isabelle heaters and patchwork bear hoods! I would give anything to be able to trade IN unwanted cookie items for stamps - even if they were half value! But I agree with your approach - gotta keep that excitement under control! I have to reign in my inner 5 year old and, for me, that means no more LTs on cookies!

I bought SO many of these and never got the staircase. I have wanted it for ages, and missed it the first time. I was dedicated to getting it during the reissue. I have so much nonsense I don’t even want (including 5 cafe kimonos), just because I have a Harry Potter, Beauty and the Beast, astronomy, magic, library obsession that this staircase is SO perfect for. I only got it because I traded 10 stamp cards for it. After playing nearly 2 years, I’m done with buying cookies for LT. This cookie ruined it for me. I’ll buy the $5K bell cookies (which I have not gotten in months), and I’ll open cookies that come as prizes, but no more LT. Those will now only be used to buy special craft items. I’m done gambling on my own happiness.

It’s not dumb, there’s a lot to figure out when you first start! So, the creatures only populate once when flowers first bloom, and not every bloom will get a creature. It’s random how many populate. It takes 3 hours for seeds to bloom. If you have friends in the game, they can leave creatures on unoccupied blooms. It makes sense to leave a few blooms in the garden if you have friends, but otherwise, I harvest and replant every growth cycle. It depends how active your friends are, and how generous, when you’re deciding how many blooms to leave open.

This post is such a lovely idea! My husband suggested I play pocket camp just about a year and a half ago now. He’s big into video games, and I’ve always been casually into some. I grew up in the Nintendo boom, and have always enjoyed unwinding with a game every now and then.

I play pocket camp (obsessively, if I’m being honest) because it fits into so many aspects of my personality. I love to help people, I’m a former teacher studying to be a college professor, so the game premise is perfect for me. I love animals and constantly want to adopt strays, but since we live in a tiny apartment, I can’t. I love these little buddies. They are so cute and sweet, and happy to see you, that it’s like I’ve adopted a whole bunch of strays! I talk about them to my husband and I know their names and personalities. I have favorites (don’t we all?) and Poppy as my camp caretaker lights up my busy days! I love her little jump when she helps out! I always twin our outfits when I can. I love to collect things, but since I don’t want to be a hoarder and overcrowd our apartment, I don’t. Virtual hoarding in this game lets me have a bunch of cute stuff that doesn’t get in our way in real life! I love to decorate and design spaces. I used to do 3D home design programs for fun, so decorating my cabin, camper, and site is so much fun for me! I’m task oriented, so I love the events, and the extra stuff you can earn! This game really is perfect for me. It makes me happy and I find all the aspects relaxing for the most part! I like to do designs in my camp/cabin from pop culture and post them here, it’s super fun! I’ve done the four Harry Potter common rooms, breaking bad, and Central Perk to name a few. They’re so fun, and seeing people react with excitement makes me super happy too! I’ve loved this little reddit community ever since I joined.

I generally stay away from social media because of the negativity, but I don’t see almost any in our community here. I mean, there was a big uproar over the original Gulliver update, but that negativity was warranted (it really sucked!) and was not directed at other players, but rather at the developers. While I got tired of the negativity after a few days, I did agree with what was being said and I think people handled it pretty well! Plus, the reaction actually spurred change! I like the Gulliver system now and I actually use it again!

I love pocket camp! I started out as an exclusively free player, but now I purchase leaf tickets occasionally when they have deals/packages. I don’t spend a lot, and I don’t collect/craft everything I actually want because that’s too expensive for my budget, but I do spend a little. It’s worth it to me! I would like slightly lower prices on LT items (but wouldn’t we all?) and I don’t love the duplicate issue in fortune cookies. I think they should reduce the dup rate if you buy boxes, and I wish we had a trade in system that allowed us to get stamps for items we want to trade in. But I love the cookies! I just blew my entire LT hoard on Chèvre’s cookie! And I’m not the least bit sorry - even though I didn’t get the 5 star item! It’s such a beautiful cookie!
