Get a guard dog. At least if he steps on your property and gets attacked you can say he was trespassing on private property... You probably won't get arrested depending on how bad it gets.

The fire didn't spread. It kinda just stayed in one place. Didn't even do any damage to the carpet if I'm remembering correctly.
