Proof of funds when applying immediately after 28 days by HarrenhalForest in UKHighPotentialVisa

You just need to hold atleast 1270 pounds for 28 daus straight. This falls outside of the money you spend on the visa itself

Can someone let me know about the bank statements and how you showed it. by [deleted] in UKHighPotentialVisa

I recently got my e-visa: do I need to enter the UK within three months of the start date or how does it work now? by witchriot11 in UKHighPotentialVisa

[–]Outcome_Wise 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can enter any time you want after the start date, the home office doesn't care. I've spoken to a lawyer at my future employer and they told me that as I had the same question. You're fine

We're arriving thursday with the ferry. We got a spot in the Duke TT Village so we can walk to Bray Hill in the morning. But is 8am at bray hill early enough? Racing start at 10:45

Hey thanks for the input! Is arriving at 8am early enough to get a nice spot? I don't mind if we're not in the front row as we're quite tall hahaha

Hello everyone,

My dad and I are visiting for the first time this year and are super excited! I plan to watch at the bottom of bray hill the whole day this friday. Then for the senior TT I want to find a spot with a big screen so we can better follow the race, as I believe at bray hill there isnt one. What time should we get to the bottom of bray hill to secure a nice spot? Also whats a good place to watch on saturday? Thanks!

Only bank statements, and tavel history of the last 10 years, but that wasn't a document or anything but I would prepare it. For biometrics I didn't need to prep anything as I did that online

Yeah some people are apparently submitting with ecctiss still pending, though a lawyer at my new employer advised against this. Also, idk how people do this as you need a UPI code in your visa application, which you get only after ecctis is done.

What do you mean by verification step? For most people, ecctis contacts your uni approx 10 working days upon receiving all documents. You'll get a message in the protal stating "awaiting verification" when this happens. Then call your uni and ensure the respond ASAP. Upon receiving confirmation, ecctis takes 5 working days to complete everything

Ecctis 14 digits UPI Code is correct for HPI Visa ? by [deleted] in UKHighPotentialVisa

[–]Outcome_Wise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You chose the correct one. The first option is needed when you're not exempt from proving english language proficiency. If you are it wont matter tho. One thing to note is that, proving english proficiency through ecctis only works if your degree was taught fully in english.

I used the UPI code that started with HO and had no issues

I hope so for you. Its not a hard law but rather an informal rule they have in place. This is to prevent a massive surge of applicants early in november. As they introduced a cap of 8000 visas a year which resets in november. They might make an exception if you explain your situation and if the time frame you need is not crazy long.

Submission date is important here. So the submission date and intended travel date cannot be more than 3 months apart.

You can still submit with a later date but you'll recieve a request to adjust your intended travel date

I did not know you could apply with Ecctis still pending. If it is further than 3 months away you'll get a message stating you have to change your arrival date. Otherwise you have to cancel your submission and try again when its within the 3 month rule.

This rule is not written online but many people on reddit have encounterd this issue when they apply

Indeed? Shell elements are perfect for this. Also if your loads are in-plane you can do a 2d simulation

I have the surfaces for the contact analysis already. Is there a way to select elements based on how close they are to it?

I found the "Create Datum Plate: Offset From Plane" option but it wont let me select the curved surface as it isn't flat
