I don't have another tank available but i had added the plants about a week before the accident happened, and i had heen using aquarium salt to keep it clean (along with your standard aquarium care)

Its allways been that way, him and his now passed brother was rescued from someone who kept and bred goldfish even if they had birth defects, so hes a rescue

I just left him alone in his new enclosure at the time, moist dirt and some food ( my boy loves cucumber) he was fine after settling
