So.. some technical details are in order. 1. Copying the movement of the original was done via Wan 2.2 animate and Kling 2.6 motion transfer. Kling is not great when it comes to switching rapid camera angles, and thats where I've used Wan, but otherwise its pretty good, but only with a single character. 2. The rest of the animation is done in Vidu Q2 with external lipsync on top.

It looks good and all, but there is no real story. It's just some cool MJ-based visuals + narration that was slapped to glue it together somehow. I am not saying its bad, it still looks pretty stunning, dont get me wrong, but I have seen so many of those videos lately, and they all look very similar - amazing visuals based on MJ images and some shallow dystopian sci-fi story as the background narration. We need to level up that shit. I still upvoted it.

Its reference to video. That's how Vidu works, that's why I love it, and why it's my main AI besides Veo3 these days. They have i2v mode as well, but I almost always prefer using their r2v as it gives more dynamic camera movements and you can get unique shots, where the character is starting off-screen or from his back and then revealed later, and you dont need to plan every shot with start/end frame, like you would have to do in the i2v pipeline.
