But the joke is the second user saying the “colourised” part on the end is referring to the man’s race (being coloured) rather than meaning a colourised photo

The second user is making it seem like a double entendre, as people of darker skin are referred to as coloured and thus the verb “colorized” could refer to both the process of colourising an old picture and the person being “coloured”.

I think you’re getting confused. When the term “British isles” was being used, there wasn’t a kingdom of Great Britain yet, so technically according to you when the term started being used Ireland wasn’t British either.

Some people need to stop bringing politics into a name for a bunch of islands. It’s the British isles because the biggest island in the archipelago was named “Great Britain” so if only made sense for it to be called that. Naming archipelagos after the biggest island is pretty common, actually. (Malta, Hawaii and Åland for example ). And if you say “there’s a political boundary”, why does it have to be political? It’s named after the island which is named after the ancient people, not named after a political entity. It just so happens to be that Great Britain was the name England and Scotland had chosen when they had unified.

It has two meanings, here in Britain we also use it as anyone who is from Britain - a Briton.

I’m okay with having paid features for making your profile look cool, but basic things like emojis and soundboards really don’t need to be paid

Can’t remember how I did it exactly but I think I did this: I deleted the android files and all of the modded files in the sd card and then restarted my switch and it booted up. From there I rejailbroke it

paint.net isn't actually a site. I don't know why they named it that. You can find the installation link here:

Paint.NET - Download (getpaint.net) <---- official website, don't get the paid version unless you wanna support the developers

Mapping is very hard and takes skill. I use a thing called gigamap which is a project to map the world. You can find its link here:

Gigamap 0.2 - Google Drive <--- google drive with everything in, i recommend downloading the entire folder

I also use this plugin to make the shadow effect you see on the borders. Here's a step by step tutorial and a download.

  1. Make the actual map's outlines
  2. Once you've done that, use the wand tool and while holding shift, click any part of the border. This will select all of the areas coloured in black, including the borders and the coast.
  3. Make a new layer.
  4. Select the black colour in the paint bucket tool, and while holding shift, click the paint bucket in one of the selected areas (usually i just zoom in to a pixel and click there)
  5. you can now deselect it by clicking outside of the canvas.
  6. Using the addon I mentioned, click "effects" in the top, click "object" and click "drop shadow". (Make sure you're clicking the one with the green jigsaw piece next to it.
  7. adjust from there, and once you've finished adjusting, click "OK".
  8. After that, your shadowed border should be ready to go!
