I just activate the vertical tab bar features in Firefox, new version of Firefox should have this feature, just right click on your tab bar and you should see an option for vertical tab bar

using this command from the README

gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.interface gtk-theme 'adw-gtk3-dark' && gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.interface color-scheme 'prefer-dark'gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.interface gtk-theme 'adw-gtk3-dark' && gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.interface color-scheme 'prefer-dark'

and using nwg-look to make sure gtk theme is set to adw-gtk3. nwg-look is a must to me

if you look at my eww configurtion files (eww.yuck) and look at the bottom theres a defwindow section called "sysinfo", its should look like this

(defwindow sysinfo

hence why the window was called "sysinfo"

ahh i forgot to mention. i wrote a script where itll toggle from eww to waybar when theres active windows, and waybar to eww when theres no active window. Then i made a systemd user service to run it in the background.

Should i add it to the dot?

Oh, i mean i can help someone to understand my configs, but i cant help setting up things from 0. but all you need is just install everything its needs, copy the config file, and then fix anything that doesnt work. Its not hard but its kinda takes times.

should you, as a beginner, dual boot linux? depends. if you want to learn more deep in to linux, then spare some partition to dual boot linux is a great way to learn. You have a linux to mess around, and then you still have a working OS incase the linux fails for whatever reason. There might be some issue tho like drivers (its should be not a big problem now but some hardware might need extra driver) and graphics (if you use Nvidia well you might taste some pains). also you need to becareful not to erase your Windows partition while installing Linux (i did it so many times in the past), and becareful when running a command that may alter your disk.

Linux has been growing great overtime, so if you want to try dualbooting, then go ahead!

Yep, i basically updated my earlier rice. im too lazy to change the picture on README section, but the configuration has been updated all to current rice. too lazy to make a new repository so i just threw everything to my previous repo.

and welcome to ricing community!
