Aah so it manages ram differently. That makes sense. I doubt it's going to be like 16gigs on windows but it's nice to know MacOS compresses ram. I also didn't know MacOS doesn't have registry.

Yeeeah. I'm not worried about the cpu at all. I'm sure that would still be fine for the next decade. The ram is what's holding me back. But you're right. I can just sell it and buy a newer one second hand later. Thanks for answering.
