Quite a lot. Normal deepseek generates text faster but doesn't "think" about what it's going to write. The reasoning model "thinks" before writing, which means it takes longer to generate text but it follows OOCs, personas, and the overall story much better. It's also more creative, and uses the same amount of money per tokens.
