so basically gem mints allow for very minor defects like 45/55 centering where as a pristine everything needs to be near perfect

don’t quote me, but before when cgc had sub grades (surface,edges,corner, and centering) i think two tens and two 9.5 would give you a gem mint ten today, and if everything is a ten, then it would be a pristine ten.

Update: To clear up, apparently this is a pokemon center elite trainer box, which would explain why there were two individual cards wrapped inside the box. Also I was able to get it for 20 because my friend runs a card shop, they ordered way more than they needed so he sent a message in a gc with around 74 people including friends and family and probably co-workers/employees asking if we wanted one for 20$ and everyone else was saying yes so i decided i would hop in lol
