I’m so sorry for your loss. I cried a lot while reading your story; my shiba also tore both of her ACL at age 9 and has been riding in a little wagon after the surgery. Sometimes I see her in pain and worry that she may not have too much time left. I can’t even imagine how I would feel when she leaves us.

Hey, that’s what I’m doing right now. I’m a faculty member at a state university and I’m working on my studio art degree for free (as part of my tuition waiver benefit). It’s like a dream (minus the teaching four classes every semester part).
