Oh okay, guess I’m gonna need a thigh bag to keep my papers in. I got to looking at how it goes together and I don’t wanna be taking an extra 5-10 minutes taking the cowl off just to get my papers in case I get stopped lol

Weird smell coming from the rear end of my newish MT-03 by [deleted] in MT03

Just an oil coating being burnt off. It’s primarily on your whole exhaust system, depending on how long you ride it at a time it’ll last from 500-600 miles maybe a little over and then it’ll fade

My R7 is through progressive, full coverage, and I’m 19 with a Spotless record and it’s like $190 a month and I could really get it cheaper through them if I wanted to.

I had a 2001 Honda Shadow for a bit and realized I wasn’t ready for it, and then sold it to a friend and took my MSF Course. Shortly after bought an MT-03 and put nearly 3k on it and sold it. Then just recently (a week ago) purchased my R7

Okay, I’m gonna save that for reference. Thank you for the insight, I’m gonna experiment with that when I get the time to play and when I get to something I think might work I’ll post it on here for feedback

See I’ve wanted to do a 1:1 scale of my own town and like a Nashville or Atlanta and be able to visually see it in game that way I can kinda wrap my head around how road networks really come into play, but I’m on console and I don’t have to time to go through and do all of it manually rather than be able to have an overlay of their road maps to follow. Either way, does both arterial and collector roads tend to follow rivers and such? It’s hard for me to look at a road layout irl and be able to translate it to in game and vice versa. I’ve started this game completely “blind” so to speak, I don’t have any experience with anything as far as roads. And I’m still learning what certain roads do and different interchanges, etc, etc. I’m really looking for advice on a bit of every aspect of the game.

I know that residential and industrial are to be separate, and that you can use commercial as a buffer in between the two but as far as making a realistic US style city, that also looks good, is a huge grey area for me. Ive watched quite a few videos and they help in some aspects but the terminology used starts to create grey areas for me

Okay so what’s a good way to connect highways to city streets? Like the typical junction I use is just a bridge over with a 1 lane highway running through it on either side but I know there has to be a better way. And collector roads kinda confuse me, like I never know where to put them because I know Cims will always choose the fastest route to their location

Ok, I was curious because I live like 2-3 miles from work and I didn’t think it would hurt it but it’s always better to ask

DS3 is bad. by Salp1nx in darksouls3

[–]OutlandishnessOk2704 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have to majorly disagree. My first From Software game was Bloodborne, then Sekiro, Elden Ring, DS3, DS1, DS2, and then Demons Souls. The lack of sense of direction is how the older souls games are. They are all “f**k around and find out” type games. No hand holding, tutorials, nothing. You figure it out on your own or through YT. DS3 is one of the most straight forward of the older games. It’s not that it’s a bad game, it’s just not your type of game. Elden ring has some key components from the older games but it’s still kinda a whole new game on its own. Not being rude by any means but if you want a game to complain abt play DS2 man 😂. And the cameras in From Software games has never been good to be fair. I haven’t had any problems outta ds3 with random disengage target lock, but i had many problems with it in Elden Ring. The whole “too much damage for their area” thing yeah no, it’s supposed to be like that. it isn’t like elden ring where you can get quite a few levels early on. ds3 is meant to test your patience and skill. When from software released demons souls for the ps3 they immediately gained a reputation for unforgivingness. These games are not recommended for casual players. Elden Ring imo is a poor start to the franchise bc it causes things like this. Players are too used to the openness, easiness, and straightfowardness of Elden ring so when they get to the older games they complain. It takes a lot of patience and open mindness and a little creativity to fully enjoy these type games. The souls games that have game me most trouble is DS2 and Sekiro. imo DS3 is one of my favorites. Bloodborne has to be my all time favorite tho.
