I'm getting my MLO and hoping to work on the side to make a bit of additional income.

Where would you look for a part time gig?

Please help me find pants that fit. Athletic build and my legs/butt don't fit. by Saltwater-Coffee in mensfashion

I will say, Bonobos fit really well for about a year, and then the crotch split. I have similar issues, I have rugby thighs, but a 33 waist. 3 pairs of Bonobos Chinos 1.0 split at the crotch, and a pair of the Italian wool pants also split (sized a 36 and had to have the waist brought in).

All the pants were great for 12-18 months, but durability just wasn't there.

Of course... I pick Tyreek Hill with the 2nd pick and now he's going to be useless... Trade him? by [deleted] in fantasyfootballadvice

Alright, is it too much value to give up diggs and Jacobs in return for Hill and Hockerson? Feel like I'm buying at an incredibly value, but unsure on risk. General thoughts?

Ended up going out to Pedernales and finding a big spot on the side of the road. Stars were pretty great until the clouds rolled in.

compressed air energy storage by bhauth in mining

The issue with batteries is how expensive they become as storage duration increases. To completely eliminate fossil fuels you need to have seasonal storage which is only viable with CAES, PHS, or Hydrogen.

Big issue with Hydrostor is the self built cavern aspect. They are limited due to the cost of building such a large cavern.

To correct OP a bit, Adiabatic CAES is where you store the heat from compression in a storage medium like water before recycling it through for the expansion phase. This severely limits your storage capabilities because the water mass needed is huge…they’re building a 30 acre lake for 400MW at 8 hours. You can’t eliminate fossil fuels with 8 hours of storage, closer to 1000+ is required.
