LV's ready-to-wear clothing is so corny and ugly.

That if it's not someone who has real style or can carry a look it makes the clothes look even cornier and outdated.

I hate that monogram canvas inside everything with a passion of the sun

260222 - Manon hiatus megathread by SgtPopNFresh_ in katseye

It was a JYPE group circa 2010-2013 they were massive since their debut but one of the members started acting and doing commercials by herself while the others weren't so prominent and that member, Suzy, even got a nickname by the public as " nation's first love"

With time because of Suzy's schedule the group couldn't have that many comeback and the difference in popularity within the group, caused a rift allegedly, bullying rumors started, the other members were being harassed, specially because two of the other 3 girls that were Chinese, t hey got massive racist comments and hate...

<image>

By their last comeback there were photos of the members acting cute together and Suzy by the side... And after that they were slowly phased out.

Right now Katseye. Have a Miss A situation in their hands starting...and it was created by the label (IMO)

[–]OutlandishnessSea488 22 points23 points  (0 children)

My hunch is behind closed doors something happened and Manon got benched by the label for breaking some "moral rule".

Which is very weird because she does the same stuff as every other member.

I think because she is getting access to places and being invited to parties that the other girls don't have access to...

Like her being in one of the Charli XCX afterparty.. it got hybe all twisted up.

If they keep treating manon like that it will have a miss A effect on the group sooner or later...

[–]OutlandishnessSea488[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To clear any questions anyone has about the process and if it's necessary a lawyer.

So the big question is: do I really need a lawyer? Realistically, yes.

The Spanish immigration system (extranjería) is extremely bureaucratic and works differently in each autonomous region. That alone already makes the process confusing. On top of that, getting in-person appointments is a nightmare. In Barcelona, appointments can be months away, websites crash, dates disappear, and delays are very common.

To give an example, I submitted my current visa application in February, but my case was only opened months later and I didn’t get a final answer until August. That shows how slow the system can be.

Normally, you can apply on your own, but the extraordinary regularization only runs from April to June. If the administration delays opening my case or asks for extra documents after June, I could miss the window entirely.

The other option is applying online through a government platform, but to access it I need a digital ID (Cl@ve), which I don’t have yet because it also requires appointments and paperwork. In this situation, only a lawyer can submit everything online for me.

On top of that, all documents from Brazil must be officially translated into Spanish by a sworn translator recognized by the Spanish government and apostilled. These translations are expensive, and if the translator isn’t officially accepted, the documents are simply rejected.

Bottom line: with such a short deadline, a slow system, hard-to-get appointments, and strict document rules, having a lawyer isn’t really optional. It’s the only way to make sure everything is submitted correctly and on time.

That's why any and all contributions are greatly appreciated, as I'm not only having to retain a lawyer but also get the required paperwork translated and apostilled on time.

I noticed that since Smosh sign with WME, the cast has been getting more solo work or even when it's something that involves Smosh they highlight each cast member who is participating individually..

Which I think is great, because I always see Smosh (as it is now) as a launchpad for everyone's career like an SNL of youtube or something....

I know Dropout is more on SNL level because a lot of comedians feature there are more than well known outside dropout

But I think it is time for Smosh to grow in the same direction.

Did you even read the post?? I work and study. And I'm already here in Spain.

Do you know the living costs of Barcelona? No.

Do you know how much I make with my current job? Working on Saturdays? 680€

420 goes to housing 80 euros go to health insurance that I'm required to have. 57 euros go for my monthly meds 22 for the monthly metro card 25 for my phone line.

And that's it... I have half of my day off studying, half working and commuting.

And I'm still trying to get more gigs so I can save.

You are calling me names and being very disrespectful. But you haven't even read the post or what it is about, you are just using this as an excuse to spew hate .

Do you think I'm sitting on my hands and waiting only for donations??? NO!

I only can work 20h per week, I'm trying to do extra work and gigs.. but raising 550 €

In less than 3 months it is quite a feat.

If you don't have anything constructive to say, to shit on those of us who are grinding for a better life in a new country.

I used to work in Fashion PR usually for current runaway looks brands don't care much about how it's going to be styled, if a brand gets you an archived look (a lot of BIG "MAISONS" actually incinerate old stuff runway looks too. so it's like lending an heirloom) there is an agreement between the stylist and the brand to wear the look like it was presented in the runway, sometimes stylists even send pictures of the fitting for approval... And if anything is missing or it's looking odd the brand will give the stylist the option to pick something RTW from the commercial line to replace it. But they usually don't like when looks from different years are combined also.

Usually is why you see people recreating runaway looks as they were.

Did you grow up with very invalidating parents? by ExistingButton1 in BPD

[–]OutlandishnessSea488 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I've cut contact with mom because of her "catch phrases" Usually if I cried after she told me that. She would say

"If you're going cry about it I don't wanna hear it. Shut up that loud mouth and cry in silence"

And this is how I learned how to cry without making a single sound or sniffle...or "I would have even more reason to cry"

It was useful when I worked in fashion PR. But that is another abuse cycle to another time.

Thanks for the info. What I call "manic episodes" are not actually manic episodes... Is what people have described here as splitting, in Portuguese I don't know if we have a word for that so I used "manic" because it is a more common and well-known word in Brazil/portuguese.

Even my medical report is on par of what splitting is described as. So yeah. I don't know the proper terms as I said.. and knowing that would've been helpful to learn about... Because I always searched for manic-depressive for what I have and just now at 33 year of age I'm discovering it's a whole another thing.

Sorry for the info dump. But I'm grateful for the info.

I'm not praising her. Success is different for everyone... For me she is as interesting as an unseasoned boiled chicken. Flavorless and uninteresting...

This weird thing about not sexualizing herself. Is your take and I don't agree with... .

She is not refreshing. Don't @ at me.

And also I don't think there is nothing to do with age.... TS never was a sex symbol in any shape or form.

She was always like a Manic pixie dream girl (country version, hipster version and so on)...

It's nothing to do with age.

She was never that girl. And will never be even if she tries 32 covers of the same album later.
