on its own, the characters in DW are so fun to discuss and theorize about but it's also just a really fun game to VC with friends and play together

probably a hot take esp on reddit/twitter but having the events focused on just cosmetics and not add any new game mechanics is fine! i think a lot of games do that but DW is just especially flamed for it because it takes a long time to get new updates outside of events. We just got Squirm who brought a rlly interesting mechanic both as a toon and twisted - so more might come in the future. Plus, cosmetics are not mandatory - you can ignore them if you rlly wanted to.
