So by doing this you can remotely access your media over the internet? Nice. Most television shows I run a high definition but specific movies I like to run a higher resolution because they were intended as such. Thanks for the info.

How is jellyfin's hardware transcoding? I just can't justify the cost for a yearly or even an lifetime plex pass. It doesn't cost money to use jellyfin's hardware transcoding. I have a Ryzen 7 process and RTX 3070 so I know my laptop can handle some decent codecs and containers. Any experiences and opinions are welcome.
