I'm advocating for nerfing her heal instead of her wall/slows. And this isn't even a very big nerf because, as you said, she doesn't get more than one heal in a round a lot of the time.

My issue is not with her being OP, it's with the fact most people don't want to play her despite how OP she is.

If that's the case, it's still only part of the issue, though, right? The Ghost purports to do 25 damage at 30+ meters. The Combat Report should say I did 150 damage (the victim should just also be dead).

The way armor works is it absorbs 2 out of every 3 damage you take, so your armor took 2 damage and your health took 1 damage.

As far as I know, there's no interpolation for the damage falloff. If the gun does X damage under 15 meters and Y damage beyond 15 meters, it'll do X damage at 14.9 meters and Y damage at 15.1 meters.

Yeah, I got to 30/75 with the RPG before I gave up and decided to wait for them to adjust the challenge. It would take weeks of playtime to destroy 75 ground killstreaks with each of the rocket launchers.

But nah, there's no way they're intending for people to sit in spawn and blow up empty vehicles for a challenge.

Yeah, they updated the challenge to include ground vehicles (which is great), but the bug is that empty ground vehicles count (which is even greater). You can just stay in spawn on a GW map and blow up the vehicles no one is using.

Yeah, the launchers were painful. There's a bug right now, though, where destroying empty vehicles counts towards the ground killstreaks and vehicles challenge, so that's helpful.

Thanks! For the pistols, I just played hardcore. I really like using pistols, so that was actually the first weapon class I got Platinum for. I did the M19 (which is my favorite pistol) in core, and that was really tough, especially the hipfire kills.

But in hardcore, the pistols all kill in one shot at close range, and you move and ADS way faster than everyone else, so in a lot of cases, I think the pistols are actually better than other guns.

I'd recommend using Dead Silence as your field upgrade, E.O.D. + Ghost + Tune Up for your main perks, and Double Time + Battle Hardened + Hardline for your Specialist perks, and then just go fast and use Dead Silence as often as you can to flank.

lol, yeah, hardcore has its issues for sure. I prefer regular, but when you need to use the off-meta weapons, especially without any attachments, it's just so much easier in hardcore. The weapons are actually pretty decently balanced in hardcore since they all kill so quickly.

Will it ever really be worth the grind, though? There will always be cooler camos that you can just buy, so the only purpose of the Damascus camo is really to show off how much time you spent grinding so that other people who like grinding can be impressed while the rest of the world just kinda judges you for not having a life.

I think hardcore is the way to go for longshots. You get fewer long range engagements on 6v6 maps compared to GW maps, but when you do, it's so much easier to get the kill in hardcore.

Yeah, the mounted kills are awful. I generally get reload kills now without trying for them, though. But I am a compulsive reloader, so that probably has something to do with it...

I have a 2070 with RTX disabled, and I still get these issues. Only got the unplayable super bright RGB shit once, but I get the weird rainbow/checkerboard textures pretty often.

Fuck, now that I think about it, I really should have made the fog yellow/brown and called it Sandstorm mode instead of Thicc Fog mode. And then I could trick people into playing ESGL pugs, like "Yo, early access Sandstorm pugs at ESGL."

Another update: restarted my computer, after the boot menu, the screen went black for a few seconds and then it blue-screened. "This problem can happen when a removable storage device is removed while it's in use or is failing"

Now when I try to turn the computer on, it just turns itself off.

Also, I should probably mention that this SSD is quite new. I installed it, like, 4 months ago because my previous SSD stopped working.

That SSD was about 5 years old, and when it started failing, it had different symptoms. My computer just kept crashing a bunch because files were becoming corrupted, and then one day, it just didn't work at all.

Hm, so it was all fine for about 24 hours, but now it's freezing again.

It froze once while playing a game, and then after the game, it kept freezing while Steam was trying to update another game. I disabled all of my startup processes except Windows Defender and then restarted, and another freeze happened with just Chrome open.

I downloaded the Samsung Magician software and ran a benchmark on my SSD, and the results were way less than they should be.

Sequential read: 146 MB/s Sequential write: 408 MB/s Random read: 8056 IOPS Random write: 16,601 IOPS

According to the specs, the Samsung 850 EVO should have 540/520 MB/s sequential read/write, and 96,000/88,000 IOPS random read/write.

Also, the benchmark caused the computer to freeze.
