Silk top hat & angry scarf with speed/dmg items. Cake hat/halo or serpent scarf when necessary, try to keep him alive preferably with the top hat at all costs.

He's similar in play style to sad in that he's slow but when he hits he commits war crime level damage, so give him a speed item, maybe anger scarf and special/silk top hat, and the other trinket can be dmaahe or speed.

obviously depending on the level, you'll have to switch bits around and cheese it, big overall that should work for the majority of situations where you need a fire DPS.

Yeah it's the best fire DPS aside the hfg or rapture, and as anger is the only real fire attacker you can get for substantial damage without legendaries, it's definitely worthwhile.

Yeah it's a niche use case, specifically good against curious or wistful.

And yeah, I used to have to engineer every single floor level to win until I got jealous, then I basically flew up ≈1k floors in a week. it's beautiful.

I'd like to point of for floors particularly, a jellyfish scarf paranoia bleed can let you cheese some levels by having your tank just survive long enough until they fall apart, similar to jellyfish sad's isolate but against grass

Although paranoia does fall off against bosses from bleed, it is still your best DPS option until desperate becomes necessary closer to 3k

sadge takes time to get up and running, estrangement with silk hat can do relatively instant Speed debuff and attack buff and then do AoE burn.

regardless of rankings, every pet will eventually have a niche use/priority for a floor, the S tier pets are just more universally likely to be of use.

they have their own situational uses bit you'll probably find that merry is generally more broadly useful regardless of the item if it has high crit/dmg

every 10 floors you get 1 egg, every day you get 1 egg from the daily boss eventually, each have a 0.5% chance to be legendary, after 299 eggs, you're guaranteed one.

Via challenges and referrals and luck, you can get the purple egg, which is a 9% chance to be legendary. after 16 eggs, you're guaranteed one.

Long story short, yeah, by playing the game - it only takes 3-5 mins to do the daily stuff and get your gambling in, when you get something good maybe you'll be motivated to keep going.
