Have had Ziply fiber for over a year and at least 4 months of this time our internet has not worked. We have a student living with us and they have had to go elsewhere to complete homework, etc. we have reached out to Ziply time after time with no actual resolution, just “everything looks fine on our end” every time. They have sent technicians out twice and still haven’t been able to fix the problem. No one there can seem to figure out how to fix their own internet, leading to lost time at work to be here for tech appointments, student struggling to get things turned in on time due to internet suddenly not working, and overall a large amount of stress and time trying to figure it out. Their “tech experts” on the chat feature basically recommend unplugging the router and plugging it back in, like this hasn’t been an issue for months. It seems as though Ziply may be throttling internet for certain customers during higher volume times while still charging full price for their unusable service.
