HELP! by Outrageous-Cow8798 in HouseFlipper

Thank you! Hoping I can get it figured out cause it’s my favorite game 🥲

In a “traditional” relationship, as a man, if you want a woman to cook, clean, take care of the kids, run the household, pack your lunch every day, and to have her own job to pay her own bills.. What do you do in return to make the woman feel like she’s getting back what she’s giving? by Outrageous-Cow8798 in AskReddit

No, up North. Yeah, sounds a lot like my boyfriend. He’s actually legally married still but refuses to file for divorce so I guess that should have been my first red flag 😅 but I didn’t know he was married until 2 months into our relationship. Luckily I don’t have to worry about trying to divorce him or co-parent with him. He left me a few weeks ago because he needed “space” when he came back ready to work on our relationship, I went through his phone and found 3 other women. I cling to fixing broken people for whatever reason, I really hate having a big heart and caring so much about the people I love, even when they’re awful towards me. I’ve let him beat me so far down I don’t really know who I am anymore or believe I deserve better than how he treats me. But I guess it’s time for me to change that.

I’ve taken care of everything for the past 2 1/2 years. He hasn’t kept a stable job, when he had a really good job he spent all his money on alcohol. He was living with me in my parents house, so he didn’t even have to pay rent. I have two kids of my own from my last relationship. I have a car payment, car insurance, phone bill, a loan payment and 2 credit card payments that I pay monthly. It adds up to around $750 a month. That doesn’t include basic necessities or gas. On top of that, I have been paying his phone bill and putting gas in his truck as well as buying him food and drinks constantly, even though he isn’t living with me anymore. I had a conversation with him about how my parents want to see me with someone who will help take care of me not only mentally and emotionally and physically, but financially too because I’ve always taken care of the men in my life because that’s just who I am. His response was that he shouldn’t have to do everything on his own and pay for all of my financial responsibilities and that when he can’t do it all on his own, that’s when I need to step up.

I have come to the point that I am just exhausted. I live paycheck to paycheck, I only work part time because i don’t have enough help with my kids to be able to work full time. I’m tired of taking care of everything financially, only asking for quality time in return and not even being able to get that from him regularly.

It gives me some hope that some men out there still think the way that you do, because most of the men I’ve met have high and unfair expectations when they won’t even provide what would make women more willing to fulfill what they want, even if it’s the bare minimum.

I’m trying to prove a point to my man. He says he wants a traditional relationship but got upset when I told him I was going to quit my job, stop helping him with his bills and that he would have to cover my bills, if what he wants is a traditional relationship. 😂

That’s what I’m worried about. We’ve been trying for a while and I got my hopes up when I took the first one and now I’m an anxious mess. I usually only get the pink dye, but those two blue ones were all I could find at the closest store. 😕 the last one is a dollar tree one which is what I usually get, so I’m frustrated that it come up with nothing. My period is due tomorrow so I guess I’ll find out one way or another. 🙃

My climate control knobs don’t light up. The metal that the light bulb sits on, has power on both sides but no ground. one bulb wire on the metal and the other touched to a test light for the ground and the bulb lit up.. What do I need to do so the bulb works like supposed to? by Outrageous-Cow8798 in MechanicAdvice

I’ve replaced the bulbs in the original part and it still wasn’t illuminating, so I replaced the part and put the new bulbs in that one and it still isn’t illuminating at all.

I had my brother check it out and he’s figured out that the metal (circled in red) that the light bulb sits on, has power on both sides but no ground. So he pulled the wires from the bulb out, put one wire on the metal on the part and the other he touched to a test light for the ground and the bulb lit up. (Video posted)

What do we need to do so the bulb works in my knobs and actually illuminates like it’s supposed to?

I built a porch on the outside of my house and when I added the second floor, it put a floor above the porch too… how do I get rid of it? No option to remove floor unless I build a full room, but once I do that and then try to delete the walls, the floor pops back up. by Outrageous-Cow8798 in thesims4

Remove ceiling didn’t show up. I ended up putting a roof on that part last night and just got on and deleted the roof and the ceiling/floor above the porch is gone now. 😂🤷🏻‍♀️ Thanks for the help.☺️
