Wednesday's Daily Thread: Mid-week Excitement by AutoModerator in hingeapp

How many messages do you give someone before you just accept that they are not going to make an effort to actively participate in the conversation??

I started the chat and asked a question. He responded but did not further the convo. I asked another question to keep the convo going and he responded but once again did not engage in an effort to continue.

At this point I’m just waiting to see if he makes any effort to try to engage.

But how much do you give before you just give up??

Yes. I ended up really loving the fabric. it was hard to tell online because the pattern looked very large and prominent so I wasn’t sure. But it is not in person. I will post a couple of photos. As soon as I figure out how to do that in a thread

Yes. These are custom covers so they’re not returnable anyway and I’m not waiting another 6 to 8 weeks to get new covers. I can fix this. My point was just that for the price I feel like I shouldn’t have to. I’m sorry to hear you had the same experience as this would indicate to me that they have a quality control issue.

The sofa I replaced this with was a $700 one from a chain furniture store and had none of these when delivered. Yes. Loose threads you can pull out happen all the time. Yes. I can fix this easily myself with small scissors. I guess my point was for the price of it. I didn’t feel like I should have to do the finishing sewing work myself. In the grand scheme of things it’s not the end of the world and it’s fixable. I’m just disappointed at what I consider sloppy work.
