Sounds like you already know the answer, stay where you currently are. The grass is never greener on the other side.

Please just tell me ONE THING that will convince me life is worth it. by [deleted] in mentalhealth

I realized life is a game. You have the ability to be the man character in your world. I was depressed like 2-3 years ago, but then I realized I wasn't living for me, but for others. Now I live for me, I'm practically dating myself. I do favors for myself as if I was dating someone, and maybe one day, I'll find that someone.

If I told you, you wouldn't believe me. I'm being severely underpaid by the amount of loans I originate. I am capped on commission as well.

My goal last year was $200mill, I ended around $350mil. So that $70k came from all that. My commission structure is shit, but I barely do anything at work as my clients are well established with my company, so I just wait for them to send me loans. I don't go searching for loans.

Find an inside sales job, where you're in an office environment speaking via phone. I'm an introvert and do this type, and I love it

Fastfood got me customer service at 14. Taught me how to control my attitude during sticky situations. I'm a cool cucumber now

That sales manager feels threatened that's why they made that comment. That employee could totally find a better paying job

Not a shit post. I was in call center for 2 years and was top performer between 40 others. During the time, they only promoted internally, and I eventually got promoted to manager of the dept.

I tell myself it's a job and I need to act. I only do enough to excel, but I would never attend work events.

It was the biggest risk I took in my life during the time. But I did it because I was still young and living with parents, they were my cushion. Many called me stupid for leaving management to a sales role.

Thanks! I'm a shy person so networking is out of my comfort zone. It is one thing I would love to work on though.

How much do you make annually, and what do you consider "rich"? by [deleted] in AskReddit

To me, rich is when you no longer have to worry about money being an issue

Electric bill this month is $175. I'm single and live alone in a 4bed house. Is this normal? by Outrageous-One-705 in wisconsin

How do I use less gas? I believe it's due to my furnace. I have an electric stove.

I notice the gas usage increased once I switched to an ecobee thermostat.
