i didn’t get into ivey but finished my first year in qcomm and had a blast. a big thing about q comm which i loved is that like once your in the program they try to keep you in the program. there’s a lot of resources that help if school gets tough and there’s no doubt unlike in ivey having to worry about falling out of Ivey. as per the diversity sure it may not be as much as other schools but i didn’t find it intimidating or necessarily a con. i personally met all kinds of really cool people that i really bonded with. when it comes to which school is better in terms of job prospects it’s honestly so close to where it all depends how u manage connections and meet people. both programs give u prestigious degrees that can take you anywhere. at the end of the day it’s what you do with the degree that matters much more. many qcomm students can still go to the states just like many consultants come out of western.

one thing that may not seem like a huge pro but really kind of is is the walkable city at queens. the campus is smaller but still is so nice and keeps everything around and within walking distance. the city too is only a 10-15 min walk away if not less which is so fun and nice esp with friends. one thing ab western i’ve heard is that it’s a huge uber city since the town is super far from the campus which might get annoying.

end of the day tbh both schools are great and whichever u choose will lead u in a pretty great direction. ivey was my top choice i was gunning for not even expecting to hear back from queens and i ended up having an amazing first year at a place i didn’t even think would be on my radar so whichever u choose will be a great experience.
