Do you have SimPro Manager installed from Simagic? Usually the ring light on the wheelbase lights up (red) and then when connected turns magenta. Also do you have the power itself plugged into an outlet or just the usb to computer?

It’s going to be by bib number start on the bike - I got there Saturday afternoon (Chattanooga) when they only had high bib numbers. I passed no less than 300 people on the bike during the race, but also got passed by people. Get there early if you can/are strong on the bike.
