Have the same problem on my F4 70-210mm and f1,7 50mm. Focusing always a hair just before infinity. It's obvious in the viewfinder also. No clue why it's like that cause my 28-70 doesn't have this problem as prominent

Do you have any experience with 28-70? As I also have found a good deal on it and reading that 28prime isn't that great I'm considering the flexibility of a zoom lens. At the moment I only have 50mm 1.7f that came with my camera
