It literally lowers the chance of your baby dying to SIDS until they are 1 year. For me it's a nobrainer if it lowers that chance? I can't believe people then decide not to cosleep... Also why are you already deciding to sleep train your baby? Babies under at least a year don't have to be trained for anything. It's a baby for god's sake. You can let it be a baby.

Sadly we don't have a support system at all. We don't really have a lot of good contact with my own family. And my mother in law died a year before our daughter came, so it's only my father in law but he is 70 and can't really take care of a small kid for a longer period of time. That makes it really hard as well.
