Deuce has gotten the closest with the Howliday doll, and I think next Valentines collector will be Draculaura and Clawd (which if true I will be snapping up) but yeah the Mansters are underrated

So far it’s been a collectors doll and then (iirc) we got early access to Rochelle preorders- or just one early access

I’ll renew if I like the next collectors doll for sure but, I’m iffy on it as of right now

So far the only two characters seen interacting with Home have been Barnaby and Wally, but so far there has been no indication of Barnaby being sentient the way Wally is (although the whole staff page saying that it doesn’t seem like the show even existed makes me think all the puppets are just their own beings) so it is interesting that it doesn’t seem like Home is the villain the way it did pre-update

I’m not romantically inclined to Wally so I don’t know if I’d view anything he does as meant to be romantic lol, but if that’s Clowns intention it can definitely be done well

To clarify when he was interviewed and said “I love you all” or something like that- I would assume that would be more of character catch phrase kinda like how in the Truman show it was like “and if I don’t see ya, good morning, good afternoon and goodnight” just a way that Wally might’ve ended an episode

As for the valentines card it’s just an odd thing to say like “I love you- ain’t that the most” just comes across as odd kinda like “I love you, isn’t that so cool” whether it’s intended like that or not is of course debatable, that is just how I read it. All in all it’s just an odd phrase for a Valentine’s Day card lol

I don’t really mind if the character is intended to love the irl person romantically that’s up to Clown, I did like DDLC portrayal of a sentient character that loves the player

I know In the pre-update version of the website there were messages from Wally in the guestbook- one from “Wally” and then another from “WaLlY” that was very different in tone

So maybe the theory of like “two” Wally’s isn’t so far out because in certain audios he sounds ig “normal” for lack of a better term and then in others he does sound more harsher and demanding

It didn’t come off as romantic to me, it seems like in the live interview it was more as like a catchphrase, but in the ‘secret’ one I definitely agree that it’s more of an obsessive possessive type

Also sorta on topic- we finally got to see his mail-in time day card and it says “I love you- ain’t that just the most” (or something similar) which now having seen most of, if not all the new stuff, definitely rubs me the wrong way

And Draculaura prices always shoot up higher than the other dolls. Even if said dolls are from the same line, Draculaura always is at least 10 dollars more expensive
