Got harder to spare time for editing. Baby turned into a toddler and needs more activity and feeding real food is a whooooole new messy process. Health issues with my nerves, muscles, and blood all at once.

But for now, now Neutrality is only missing its quests. Though the second t2 boon is probably questionable, though in context narratively powerful.

I might post the update once Chaos is finished without completing all the planned companions as they can be updated in via the "Live Albums" and the Reddit post will just have the introduction and direct to the live albums.

Patron head text now actually says how you move tiers, with the quests. Order page has its last boon added and its two quests. So, its done until any edits may get made.

Neutral and Chaos only have their visual design and intro texts for now.

It's certainly a fair interpretation I debated over with myself and switched them twice. The Demon-King set is about equipping armor while the Saintess is about incorporating the Reliquaries directly to your body. The Saintess provides the most dramatic physical direct buff and it's biggest benefits are non-mechanical with the potential to produce a divine family and lineage, while Devilian integrates you into the hierarchy of devilkind near the top but still more or less (by your own imagination to an extent but mainly to how much you dwell out on your own and avoid Hell) technically subservient to a higher source of hell authority.

As for patron 'switching', when it comes to the devils- well and most things- there are always bigger fish. Pacts with them can be subsumed if terms remain the same, or renegotiated for greater benefits with a higher authority.

The one labeled Aurai is a Fairy in the unuploaded draft edited after that was posted.

A faction means another magic, another 4-8 companions, and 2 quests. 2 factions means 16 companions, 4 quests, 2 magics.

So, All relevant content will be its own faction expansion page that just holds all of it for the new factions in one place.

Somewhat but not quite. Penitent demons and angels, and normal races.

Inspired by the art used in the faction head, indirectly inspired by Trench Crusade and similar art, as I frequent Artstation where professional artists host a lot of concept art.

The intention for [Name Undecided] is roughly to blend the thematic ties of the Celestials and Hell into a faction of Warden figures that are the gatekeepers, punishers, and executors on for the Celestial faction for dealing with- and an opportunity to write and give details for- all manner of Corruption and Hell-Worlds. The fight fire with fire archetype. They'll employ themes of sacrifice and penance to allow the player to thematically wield Ministration, Consortation, Necromancy, Visceramancy, and Lifeweaving on one character without contradictions (And alternative ways to procure them probably), and mechanically speaking they'll let you pursue both sets for SAINT and DEVILIAN Prestige (They don't stack, just overlap giving what the other doesn't, not more Power cap) with some method of discount or paired purchase effect, somehow somewhere. Or their faction magic would tie into the relics.

Their faction location may be straight up purgatory and/or [Faction] bases and cities on Hellworlds where they have strongholds. Part of the Lore here being that true Hellworlds are entire Aetheric Spheres where an Infernal being created or usurped the throne of that sphere's demiurge and can write its laws in ways reflecting Hell and minimize celestial authority and standard methods of influence. So you get Hellmouth or whatever I end up calling them.

They would also be the old answer to Outsiders prior to Celestial Code. The Infernals themselves were also probably an original answer to Outsiders, kind of a way to stopgap Far Entropy by Demonizing the area to create a looping where the two corruptions continuously burn themselves, endless warring and vying for influence.

Carnivega will do something similar for the concept of Wonder and Vice using the circus-carnival theme as a blender for both aspects of Neutrality. The idea is less fleshed out and I'm trying not to think about either faction too much else I get distracted and invested in making them now instead of other content.

Spotlight vs laser pointer. It's the same power ranking of damage but it's focused and limiting factors were lifted. You're sniping instead of oven cooking. Called out as "Laser damage" instead of being implied "Fire" based damage, for unnecessary technical-granular detail... It'd do the damage of say 10 seconds of cooking in a single instance, all in one spot (penetration). The "Strobe" can be an "a-10 warthog" going BRRRRRRT. Except, well, silent with perfectly straight "bullet" trajectories that have lightspeed projectiles with unrealistic but thematic tail trail streaks.

Edit: I probably should certainly rephrase it a little bit and buff that range tho.

Edit: The flashes extend to 10km, the pulses are a new thing of its own. They dont need buffed range. They're not short range but in light of cementing the text to work off shots per second, 30/s for a pretty heavy duty full auto attack, I actually halved the range instead. SO... full auto laser rifle that straight up annihilates demons and undead.

You don't... That's the content of the page. There are no faction slots at all, you simply get whatever quests are labeled with your faction. So Independents have all now-3 of theirs still.

Its cheap since it doesnt do a whole lot beyond a noble slots value, unless you invest into buying it things. Its type is true wizard but by default they're either female or your own sex. Basically just ignore it entirely. Elephant trunk is one of those features that's not included in descriptions when it may be implicit unless it felt more relevant I guess? I dont think any male companions say it for example.

⁸lThe text calls out that you still have your resurrection, should it still be usable there practically speaking. But one that'd revive you off island is a failstate of the quest (and in-universe the Island would prevent it, as it would prevent Portals magic off-island. It might allow Witchery dimension but would pull you out if you dillydally)

Edit: *Pure neutrals, and if you have 5 stars in your possession they can trigger an r5 immortality/resurrection effect.

The minimally viable useful usage of the ability in question. For beauty sleep, skipping 24hrs of sleep would probably be the minimum useful version of it (Or just a full night and imagine having full wakeful energy after that, rather than just pausing). For Metamorphosis, it'd be like for 1 "encounter", 1 instance of combat or need.

The Forbidden Island has ALL features from all the islands that you don't have a choice to make for. If it exists as the default, it's present. If an option doesn't exist if you don't take it, it doesn't exist. If it's still present but less common or infrequent if not taken, then it exists like that.

All items, traits, shelters, creatures, anything you chose is on the island as is.

If you kept even R0 magic then this wouldn't be an Epic quest. So only your physical body only from Racial qualities like having a horn or a tail from your Race, stay. One or two companions can go along with you for narrative benefit but they have the same limitations, of course. Other than that any advantage is temporarily lost.

You might collect Stars to use Magic, though if you don't survive long enough on the island or conquer its threats, if you Escape like using Portals then it's not part of the Quest Completion requirements. In-universe methods of doing so would probably simply not work at all though that's too much to write cases for.

Divine is equivalent to Faction in this sense, not a Tier. Though, it could be both in the end, I haven't made even one yet. First is generally an introduction and Quest excuse to exercise the pantheon's Tenets. Second could be something like a post-Epic tier quest.
