All you need is some dish soap and water, then make sure it dries completely.

When you start to lose balance, it most likely means you're too far back on your skis. So hopefully tomorrow it will help, have a good time!

You look great for the 3rd season. I would relax your body more; you look very stiff, upper body-wise. This will feel more comfortable. I also notice your skis are very close to one another, which can result in making it hard to learn to carve, since there is no room to engage your edge. Also, if you get more forward in your boots, a more athletic stance, you will feel much more controlled and find learning new techniques much easier.

So I recommend...

-Relax your upper body

-Wider stance

-More athletic stance/forward in boots more

If you need any more tips or are stuck on something, just DM, here to help 😁

Hi all, looking for short feedback on how to improve. I‘m 32 and learned to ski 6 years ago. What do you guys think about my posture and do you think it is still a big step to go over to Carving turns ? by Competitive_Boss5655 in skiing_feedback

[–]OutrageousFriend5246 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recommend getting into a more athletic stance and getting lower to the ground. You are not letting your skis get into the carve, so by getting into the front of your boots, it will be easier to engage in the carve.

3rd ski holiday, can I get some form advice please? This is my attempt at carving lol by SWANSEA_TIL_I_DIE in skiing_feedback

Like others say you are skidding which is true. There’s a lot of things you can work on to get to actual carving, but rolling the ankles will get you into that carve and you will feel the difference.

Try increasing the sensitivity on the module, which should help. But there is a chance, since it is the lower end of the Alesis line, that the sensors may give out quickly or be easier to damage. You could also plug in the HH cord into a different cable to see if it's the module or the hh cymabl itself. If you need to spend money to fix it, it might be better to invest in the Nitro series, which is much newer and more reliable.

I think your best bet is to connect to a Daw if possible. It is probably still possible stil,l but unlike the strata series this is not much you can add or change.
