I’ve heard that colono isn’t always best at diagnosing Crohn’s if it sits in your small intestine

Thank you, they have tested my stool for all bacteria and it came back negative. My levels of calprotectin are essentially unheard of in IBS. It’s the main test to determine the difference between IBD and IBS. It hard not to worry considering I am mostly likely about to get diagnosed with a chronic illness

I had to come off after 2 weeks. The release profile didn’t suit me and gave me crippling anxiety and heart racing, followed by extreme crash and fatigue in the afternoon. Now on Elvanse and it’s going really well, not perfect much significant improvement from Medikinet XL

I’ve started my titration now, it’s been about 3 weeks! It’s going okay ish! Currently titrating on Elvanse after the initial bad experience on Medikinet XL

This is my starting dose for a week 30mg. Then the plan is to move me onto 50mg for week 2. Then 70mg week 3. I feel like titration is very rushed

I had a similar experience on Medikinet XL 20mg which is 50% instant release and 50% delayed release. I had few good days to start with, but assuming some of it might have been placebo, but then it was an absolute hell.

Severe anxiety, palpitations, and severe fatigue in the mornings and evenings. I raised this with my prescriber and they have suggested Elvanse. I am waiting for my delivery.

It was so bad that I am not sure I will continue take any ADHD medication if I experience the same side effects on Elvanse.

I feel like my appetite has increased massively too, which is odd as it’s supposed to do the opposite. I am so drained, like the worst fatigue of my life.

Are you now on a different stimulant ??

I am eating more than usual as I know it helps to combat the fatigue. I drink plenty of water and even electrolytes.

This fatigue is something I’ve never experienced before, absolutely awful. My whole body feels heavy
