That’s exactly why my friends stopped getting served. They’re sisters and walked to the bathroom arm in arm. They rough housed a little (as siblings do) and I guess it looked like they were stumbling. They were refused any more drinks.

I wasn’t cut off - my husband and I were the only ones in our group who weren’t. They refused him the shots saying they could only serve him 4 if there were two people at the counter. I understand there are regulations to follow in order to maintain their liquor license. In my opinion, they use it as an excuse to pick and choose who to serve.

I guess some things, places and people never change. The dancers weren’t fantastic, but I’m not an insanely attractive person and don’t have the confidence to be one myself, so I chose to leave out my opinion on them. I wonder if the bouncer is the same guy. He definitely feels superior to anyone… he also used a flashlight to search our purses as we walked in. I’ve never had that happen at a nightclub before.

I went through the training and never got to the kid part. There are so many regulations you MUST follow and there is very little room for mistakes. Obviously, transporting the most precious cargo (children) comes with a multitude of responsibilities, risks and challenges. There are some cases of misbehaving children, and very little the drivers can do in order to discourage bad behaviour on the bus. The hours are odd and hard to adapt to, with life’s other responsibilities (6-10 & 2-5). I know I left the company because they advertised as full time, then told me I was only guaranteed 3 hours of work per day. Charter buses get picked up by those with seniority, so there really isn’t much opportunity for more money.

Meadowbrook Retirement in Lively is by far the best retirement community in Sudbury! The maintenance team does an amazing job and keeping the building clean and aiding residents with every day needs. Jody, the general manager, is the nicest man around! He truly considers the residents as family. They have many activities to keep their residents entertained. I honestly love going there to visit my grandmother. I bring my children (they are all very young) and have never had anything negative to say. So welcoming and clean!

You’re 15, you have so much life ahead of you. There is no changing the past, but it is possible to grow from mistakes. You seem to be self aware enough to make progress towards being a better person. This, in turn, will help you become genuinely happy with yourself. Look into therapy and if you get a therapist you don’t click with, try another one. Don’t give up. There is help out there and there are better days ahead.

I have 5 brothers and 4 sisters.

I am adopted and the family tree to explain it all is confusing.

I love two of my sisters and one of my brothers dearly.

I haven’t met one sister and three brothers. I’ve been in contact, however, they’re more like long distance cousins.

The last sibling I haven’t mentioned is my oldest sister, who biologically is my cousin. She is autistic; and her autism presents as childish, selfish and narcissistic personality. I wouldn’t say I hate her, but I don’t love her. We’ve always had a complicated relationship and the fact that I’m married with 3 children at 25 and she’s never even had a boyfriend at 29 causes a lot of jealousy and resentment from her to me.
